The Douglas College AHT program is proud to announce that we have been awarded the 3 year provisional accreditation by the CVMA(Canadian Veterinary Medical Association) AHT-VT Accreditation team.
This is the best that a new program such as ours can achieve! We have also now undergone our Canadian Council of Animal Care accreditation and are a BCVMA Accredited Practice as well. This means that our graduates will be allowed to write the Vet Tech National Board exams which allows them to become Registered AHTs in BC and through out North America.
Our next application deadline for our 30 Fall 2010 seats is Feb 15, 2010 - this year we had 99 applicants so please encourage your students to ensure they complete all their requirements to the best of their ability!
