Free Tuition at Douglas up for Grabs!

We’d like to let you know about a great opportunity this winter for students at your school who are thinking about post-secondary education – the Doug’s Got Talent video contest.

We’re inviting high school students and anyone else who is thinking about attending Douglas to show us their talents and skills in a two-minute video uploaded to YouTube. The top three entries, as decided by voting, will win $4,000 in tuition credits each! There will also be runner-up prizes of $400 tuition credits awarded.

The talent can be inside or outside the classroom – everything from singing and dancing to skateboarding and juggling. It’s pretty wide open. Some talents might be hard to translate into video, but we encourage people to be creative. We ask only that the videos be wholesome - nothing illegal or inappropriate.

Entrants must be at least 16 years of age and have started grade 11 in September, 2009. There is no upper age limit – anyone who wants to attend Douglas College is eligible to enter. Videos must be submitted before February 28, 2010 and must be two minutes (or less) in length. More details, as well as the official Rules and Regulations, can be found at
