Wars? Well, now Douglas has its own Facebook app, too! (Check
out the snazzy promo
video here.) Once your students have created their profile, the app instantly connects them with other new Douglas students who share the same interests. So, before they even arrive on campus they can make new friends in our community who are into the same television shows, movies, music, sports, hobbies, and much more!
This app is exclusive to Douglas College students, and only available on Facebook And if they join now, they'll also be entered into a draw for
a brand new Apple iPad! So please encourage your students to sign up using the instructions below,
and start making their first friends on campus today!
- Go to www.douglascollege.ca/register and click on 'Register for credit courses' to get to the self-service login page
- Enter your Douglas ID and PIN (if you don't have your ID number, contact the Registrar's Office)
- Click on 'Personal Information', then 'Survey', then 'Facebook for Schools - Invitation Sign-up'
- You will then be asked to click 'YES' to indicate if you would like to sign up for this service.
Once they have done this, we will send their email address to
our Facebook for Schools partner who will then send them the formal invitation to
join.
